FeCrAl Alloy Wire Mesh Primarily Used in Electrical Resistance Heating Elements
FeCrAl Alloy is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) based alloy, that has superior heat resistance, antioxidant performance, sulfur resistance, and carburizing properties, and have the characteristics of light proportion, high surface load, high resistivity, high temperature, and long service life. It is commonly used in electrical resistance, heating elements, and other high-temperature settings, up to 1850°C. FeCrAl alloy wire mesh offers both excellent oxidation resistance and high resistivity. This is why sometimes it would be used instead of Nichrome alloy, when higher temperature use, longer life, and higher resistivity levels are required.

FeCrAl Alloy has the characteristics of high resistivity, small resistance temperature coefficient, and high use temperature. It has good corrosion resistance at high temperatures, is especially suitable for use in the atmosphere of sulfur and sulfide, and has a series of advantages such as lightweight, high surface load, long service life, and low price. It is an ideal heating material.
