Bronze is an copper and zinc alloy too, like brass, but 90% Copper, and 10% Zinc. It has many similar characteristics of copper, such as malleability, durability and ductility. In the wire mesh industry, bronze wire mesh is also very commonely used in various applications.
Bronze Woven Wire Mesh is much better than brass wire mesh in resistance to atmospheric corrosion, which is a major reason why bronze mesh use ranges from various marine and military applications to commercial and residential insect screens. For those industrial users, bronze wire mesh is much harder and less malleable than the similar copper woven wire mesh, and as a result, it is much more often used in separation and filtration applications.
