Generally speaking, 310 Stainless Steel Wire Mesh is custom manufactured. It is a type of rarely used special stainless steel alloy. It combines superior high-temperature resistance with good ductility and weldability. It is usually reserved for high-temperature service with excellent toughness.

The same as AISI304 and AISI316, 310S also belongs to the austenitic stainless steel family. But 310S stainless steel contains 25% chromium and 20% nickel, these are much more than AISI304 or AISI316. So sometimes, it was also referred to as “25-20” stainless. Because of the higher content of chromium and nickel, 310S stainless steel wire mesh performs better oxidation and corrosion resistance than 304 and 316 in most environments. Also, the higher the chromium content, the better resistance to high temperature. It could work continuously very well at a maximum temperature of 1200℃.
