Tantalum (Tan) Woven Wire Mesh Used for Capacitors with Superior Corrosion Resistance

As a rare precious metal, Tantalum is ductile with superior corrosion resistance. It is an excellent conductor of electricity and heat with a high melting point. Commonly used for capacitors, surgical implants, chemical equipment, nuclear reactors, aircraft parts, and electronic equipment.

Electronic Industry Applications

The electronic industry is the primary field for Tan Wire and Mesh, typically used to make the anode leader of electrolytic capacitors. Approximately 65% of the world's Tantalum is applied to this field. High antioxidant crispy wire can also be used to make rigid foil capacitors, functioning effectively under high-temperature conditions up to 772°C and special high flash conditions (350V). Additionally, Tan wire serves as a vacuum electron cathode emitter, ion sputtering, and spraying material.
