Other Alloys Woven Wire Mesh Used in Various Applications According to its Unique Characteristic
King De Long Wire Mesh Company produces and offers a wide range of wire mesh woven from various metal alloys. Stainless Steel AISI304/316, Low Carbon Steel, Brass, Copper, and Galvanized Steel, are the most commonly used metal wire for weaving mesh. Besides, we could also weave the mesh with various alloys, such as Inconel, Monel, Duplex Stainless Steel, and so on.
Today, we will introduce to you some more alloys, which would be also used for woven wire mesh, more rarely but top-end. These special alloys are intended for use in specific, high-performance applications and are available by special order most time. Here, there is a brief introduction of some of our rarely used special alloys, including the less popular stainless steel alloys, Hastelloy, Nickel alloys, Titanium and Titanium alloys, and so on. If you want to buy any other special alloys not seen here, please contact us for more information, with your specific requirements.
Hastelloy Series
Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, and it is well known for its corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive media. The high molybdenum content imparts resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting and stress-corrosion cracking. As a wire mesh, it could be used in chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and else.
Besides C276, there are two other "C-type" Hastelloy, C2000 and C22, they also have superior performance on the physical and mechanical properties, and outstanding resistance to non-oxidizing acids, such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.

Nickel Alloys
Nickel 200 is almost pure (99.6%) wrought nickel. It has good mechanical properties and excellent resistance in many corrosive environments. Besides, magnetic and magnetostrictive properties, high thermal and electrical conductivities, low gas content, and low vapor pressure, are also useful features. The great corrosion resistance of Nickel 200 makes it very useful for maintaining product purity in food handling, caustic alkalies, and also in structural applications where corrosion resistance is the key consideration.
Nickel 201 is most the same as Nickel 200 but with a lower carbon content to prevent embrittlement by intergranular carbon at temperatures above 315°C. Lower carbon content also reduces hardness, making Nickel 201 particularly suitable for cold-formed items.

Titanium Alloys
Generally, there are two types, Titanium – Grade 1 and Grade 2. They are silver-white in color with low density but high strength, and both offer extremely high levels of corrosion resistance. And they are considered commercial pure as they both are comprised of 99% titanium and more, and several other very little components.
Grade 1 is the softest titanium with the highest ductility and corrosion resistance. It is often used for architectural, medical, marine, and chemical processing manufacturing. Grade 2 has moderate strength. And it is often used for architectural, automotive, medical, marine, chemical, hydrocarbon processing, and power generation applications.
